[ENVI867001] Advanced Environmental Bioprocess Engineering

The objective of the course is to introduce fundamental biochemical engineering concepts primarily to environmental engineers. The course does not assume any biological background or any prior courses in biology or microbiology, although it certainly helps to have some. To accommodate those who do not have the biological background, the course will first survey the basic ideas from microbiology, biochemistry, and the central dogma of biology.

[ENVI323001] Industrial Environment Technology

The objective of the course is to introduce some industrially environmental issues and technologies (advanced industrial water/wastewater treatment, Innovative technologies for global water crisis, nanotechnology application in water and energy, Industrial application of artificial intelligence to deep learning, waste to energy and sustainable energy technologies, energy efficient designs and management systems, etc) to students.

[ENVI816001] Life Cycle Assessment

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), a methodology to assess the environmental impact of products, services, and industrial processes is an increasingly important tool in corporate sustainability management. This course gives both the theoretical framework as well as step-by-step practical guidelines of conducting LCAs in companies and organizations.
