Per Lions Clubs International, all membership applications received by the club must be reviewed and approved by the club's board of directors.

Lions Club membership is open by invitation only to individuals who are 18 years-of-age or older and of good reputation in their community. Otherwise, the Lions Club does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin, ancestry, gender, marital status, age (18 or older), disability, sexual orientation, immigration status, veteran status or any other legally protected status.
