Pridjevi se dijele na opisne pridjeve, koji kazuju kakvo je što (lijep), i odnosne pridjeve, koji kazuju na što se što odnosi ( zagrebački). Odnosni su pridjevi i pridjevi na - ov, -ev i -in, kojima se najčešće izriče pripadanje ( Markov, stričev, Anin).

Adjectives are words that describe the qualities or states of being of nouns: enormous, doglike, silly, yellow, fun, fast.

They can also describe the quantity of nouns: many, few....

What are adverbs? In Croatian, PRILOZI

Prilozi su riječi koje se najčešće dodaju glagolima ili pridjevima kako bi se dopunilo ili pobliže odredilo njihovo značenje.

Adverbs modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. They can add to or change the meaning of a word. A great way to spot adverbs is to look for words that end in -ly.

In most cases, to create an adverb we simply add –ly to the adjective:

Quick becomes quickly, slow becomes slowly, etc.

Some adverbs are irregular, however. Here’s a list of common irregular adverbs in English:

Most adverbs are formed by adding -ly to an adjective (e.g. slow ⇒ slowly). Here is a list of irregular adverbs, i.e. adverbs which do not follow the normal rule.

Copy the sentences in your notebooks, translate them into Croatian and try to find some other interesting world or local events that happened in the past fifteen years.

Also, find the past form of these irregular verbs and use them in a sentence.
