Ensemble Production
What is Ensemble Production?
Ensemble Production is an elite curriculum that serves to create original works and prepare for theatrical competition. Students can only take Ensemble Production by audition or recommendation only. Unlike Theatre III/IV, Ensemble Production serves as in class rehearsal, directing and productions, filmmaking, and UIL preparation. In these classes, we learn about:
Ensemble building and collaboration.
Advanced theater principles in stage movement, voice, diction, tactics and objectives.
The basics of character and world building
The basics of filmmaking, including: pre/post production, marketing, cinematography, storytelling, lighting and sound for film, and film editing.
Acting for film.
Screenwriting
Playwriting skills to write original plays
