Advanced Diagnosis of Electric Motors and Generators Team
The Advanced Diagnosis of Electric Motors and Generators Team (DIAMOT) is a research team belonging to Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (UPV) that has a broad experience in the development of advanced tools for the early and reliable detection of a wide range of faults in electric motors and generators.
During these last 15 years, we have published many contributions in prestigious international journals and conferences. We have also been recipients of prestigious international awards that recognize the activity of the team in the electric motors condition monitoring area.
We are experts in electrical monitoring techniques, such as current analysis, area in which we have developed cutting edge technologies that overcome the drawbacks of the traditional methods that are often used in industry. Moreover, we have a deep expertise in other predictive maintenance techniques such as Partial Discharges, Infrared Thermography or Stray Flux analysis. The group has also a wide experience in the application of offline tests to electric motors and generators.

Application of advanced current and flux techniques to reliably determine the condition of industrial motors and generators.
Development of offline tests in industrial motors upon user request.
Realization of complete audits on predictive maintenance of electric motors in the plant.
Training courses either in our installations or in customer facilities.
Provision of expert advice on electric motors and generators predictive maintenance.
Provision of own software tools based on the most modern techniques for the determination of the condition of the machine (e.g. A-CSA software)
