Online Course Recommendations

• There are many differences in web browser features and compatibility. Google Chrome is the recommended browser for BSC courses in that it works best with Moodle and other course tools.
• Applications running on your computer, such as iTunes, Facebook, Spotify, and Pandora are each examples of applications that can dramatically impact your Internet performance, even if they are running in the background. It is strongly suggested that you stop any running programs when participating in an online course. The same is true for any bandwidth intensive resources that are running on your wireless network, you may want to limit their use if they are impacting the responsiveness of your online course.
