Q: How do I access my online course?

A: Access to your online course(s) is available within Moodle. You'll find a link to Moodle on www.bsc.edu within the MyBSC drop down menu.

Q: Do I need special computer equipment for my online course(s)?

A: You will need a computer with Internet access. Some courses may have an online component in which you can interact with your instructor or classmates over audio or video conference, in which case you will need a webcam. Your instructor will outline any specific equipment or software requirements within the course syllabus (available within your Moodle course page).

Some online courses may use Blackboard Collaborate for certain portions of the course. This is an online web conferencing platform that allows you to interact with others in real time, sharing audio, video and other multimedia content. An overview of Blackboard Collaborate is available here.
