Why I joined BTM: To honor the memory of my friend from high school, who passed away due to complications from aplastic anemia in June of 2018.

Academics: Senior studying Psychology and Neuroscience

Fun fact: I burned myself on a cop’s motorcycle in Montreal when I was 15

Why I joined BTM: To emphasize the importance of bone marrow donors for minorities. As a person of color, I have felt the ramifications of the disadvantages POCs face in medicine, and I want to do my part to make a difference by bringing awareness to the issue.

Academics: Sophomore studying Neuroscience and Sociology

Fun fact: I fostered three, one-month old kittens this summer

Why I joined BTM: I joined Be The Match because I was so inspired when I learned how easy it is to make such a big difference in someone's life and I want to help spread awareness of that to others on Tulane's campus.
