About Me
Hello Star students and parents! My name is Kari Taylor, and this is my 3rd year as the K-12 school counselor at Union Star R-II. I grew up on the south side of St. Joseph, and currently live in King City with my husband, Derek, and our twin daughters, Lexi and Tori.
Education: I earned a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development from the University of Central Missouri in the summer of 2015. I also earned a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling from Northwest Missouri State University during the spring of 2019.
I thoroughly enjoy interacting with and serving our students here at Union Star!
