While we're on the topic of wishes, I would like to let you know how I feel about gifts...  

Families often give gifts at the end of the school year.  While I appreciate these gestures, please know that what I most love are handmade cards.  

If you have the means and would like to give something more, what would be best is to receive items that can be used in our learning community, such as:

• writing and drawing tools (e.g., markers, crayons, chalk, pencils, erasers, paint, brushes, clipboards, etc.)

• a variety of papers (e.g., 8.5x11 white, large format paper, watercolour paper, construction paper, tissue paper, etc.)

• play equipment (e.g., skipping ropes, balls, hula hoops, etc.)
