AR Requirements

At the beginning of the school year and each quarter, students will take the STAR test to determine their AR reading level. Based on their reading level, students will be given a goal to reach for each quarter. I will give them their reading level range and their goal. This level and goal may change from quarter to quarter. Students will be required to read and pass an AR test with a score of 70% or higher.

Accelerated Reading is 10% of the entire reading grade for each quarter. Students are encouraged to read more than their required goal. I will conference with each student during WIN time on goals and progress.
