Our Year Four children are looking at the harmful effect plastic waste is having on our planet. In Literacy they are learning how to write a persuasive letter. The young campaigners plan to write to London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, to ask him to try and introduce measures to control plastic waste in London. Good luck Year Four.

We bring you some beautiful artwork from Years Three and Four, based on the natural world. Ruth Garner, our Art Teacher tells us about the work: "We looked at patterns from the natural world, such as those found on shells, leaves and spiders webs. Then, after the children selected their own colours, they used these sketches to recreate some beautiful patterns on black paper. Natural drawings were also used as inspiration for the stunning collages below. Coloured fabric and wool was the medium of choice this time. Mounting on black paper was also the ideal background for this work, as it shows off the colours beautifully."
