Converting Measurement
With measurement, we began by talking about the 4 main categories of things that we can measure: length, capacity, weight, and time. Students also know that there are two systems of measurement; the customary/standard system (which the U.S.A. uses) and the metric system (which the rest of the world uses). We are working on converting units with both systems of measurement. However, we will not convert between customary and metric; just within the same system.
