About the Teacher

Hi! My name is Kelly Morrison and I am so excited to be working with your family this school year. I'm looking forward to an amazing year filled with learning.

I was born and raised in Encinitas and currently live in Carlsbad. One of my favorite things to do is travel! I absolutely love exploring new places. In my free time, I enjoy baking/cooking, taking barre workout classes, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.

I am a graduate of UC Santa Barbara. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Education. Upon graduation, I attended SDSU where I received my teaching credential. Throughout the past two years, I taught third grade here at TOES. I made the switch to fifth grade this year and I am loving it! I also started working on a Master's program at the start of this school year - I will be finished at the end of April!

I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of my students and I can't wait to support them on their journey towards becoming life long learners!
