Downloading and Adding a New Aircraft
In addition to the basic aircraft available with YSFlight, there are many highly detailed aircraft offered by other aircraft modelers and enthusiasts on their websites.

New aircraft are announced here with a download link to the aircraft files. This site is part of the YSFS forum contains much information.

How to Download and Install Aircraft.
Step 1: Download the aircraft zip file.
Step 2: Unzip the files
Step 3: Copy the files to the YSFlight folder on your computer as follows:
a) Copy the file ending with .lst into the aircraft folder in YSFLIGHT
b) Copy the User folder into the YSFLIGHT root folder
If there is an error, check capitalization and naming of files.
Several of the sites listed in the YSFlight website are no longer accessible through the given links. These sites contained excellent collections of aircraft.
