iSearch or Genius Hour Projects

Your senior project is different from previous English projects. This semester we will be creating an iSearch or Genius hour project. What does this mean? How does this differ from a research paper? The main difference is that YOU choose the topic, the inquiry, the research/interview, and the product. The world is truly your oyster here.

The concept of 20% time, genius hour, and iSearch projects are not my own. I learned from some of the best in contemporary education movements: Kevin Brookhouser, Daniel Pink, Sir Ken Robinson, Angela Maiers, Vicki Davis, A.J. Juliani, George Couros, Alan November and a few other idealists.
