Poetry
To earn the full 30 points you will need to:
1. research the poet and know about his/her background
2. look up meanings of words to understand their context within the poem
3. discuss your personal reaction and thoughts related to the poem, it's meaning or personal impact. Write this out first for Mrs. G. to see before beginning step 4
4. find a critical analysis of your poem read it thoroughly.
5. present all of the above to your group and collect their thoughts/reactions to the poem. Each presentation/discussion will be 10-15 minutes. Be prepared to keep your group engaged and discussing your poem for that amount of time.
