The Hotel Villaggio Porto Giardino is situated at Capitolo, a little town near Monopoli, which is placed about 50 km southwest away from the centre of BARI.

We have gathered some information about how to travel by flight, by train and by car.

• Arrival by Flight

  • Most people travelling to Capitolo will come through Bari-Palese Airport, Bari or Brindisi Airport. These airports have frequent connections with Rome and Milan, which are the principal airports for international flights. From Bari-Palese Airport take a shuttle to the Bari Railway Station (shuttles usually live the airport about 30 minutes after the arrival of each flight and tickets cost about €5), from there take a train to Monopoli Railway Station (for more datails see Arrival by Train).

• A taxi service can be requested to take you either from the airports (Bari or Brindisi) or from the train station in Monopoli to the Hotel Villaggio Porto Giardino. The fare from the airport to the hotel is  77 Euros. The fare from the train station in Monopoli to the hotel is 22 Euros.   • Arrival by Train 

  • From Monopoli Railway Station you can request a taxi service by contacting the EuroTaxi service (e-mail info@euro-taxi.it - web www.euro-taxi.it/ - phone+39.080.748060); the fare for the taxi is 22 Euros (please, give the reference SDS2014 when you book the service in order to benefit of the special fares).

  • Arrival by Car 

    • By car from North: in the highways up to Bari Nord exit, in the Bari ring road follow direction BRINDISI/LECCE (on the E55/SS16 street) up to Monopoli (about 40Km). Near Monopoli (Monopoli Sud Exit), after undercrossed 5 bridges follow the exit CAPITOLO and the Hotel is easily reached.

    • By car from South: in the highways from Brindisi/Lecce follow the exit CAPITOLO (before Monopoli); from Taranto, crossing Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Fasano go down towards the sea and exit to CAPITOLO.
