Special Issue

A selection of works presented during the workshops will be published on a special issue of the JCAM and MATCOM.

The contributions of numerical/computational nature could be submitted to the special issue of JCAM, while  the contributions of qualitative nature could be submitted to a special issue of MATCOM.

Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics: Special issue

The Guest Editors of the JCAM Special Issue "Advances in Computational Methods for Dynamical Systems" invite the participants of  SDS 2014 to submit a paper version of their talk, or a related paper falling within the Conference's scope, for possible publication in the journal.

According to the Journal's policy all submitted papers for consideration for inclusion in the Special Issue must contain original unpublished work that is not submitted for publication elsewhere and does not exceed 25 pages. All contributed papers will undergo the usual refereeing process.

Now it is possible to submit your contribution via the JCAM website following the istruction below:

Link to: http://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-computational-and-applied-mathematics/

Register as the corresponding author (get a login and a password). Next, login as author and submit the contribution. During this procedure, it is ESSENTIAL that the article type is specified as: "SI: Methods for Dynamical Systems". Otherwise, the paper may follow different routes for regular JCAM issues and will not reach us at all.

Please note that manuscripts should be written in LaTex, if possible, with elsarticle.cls, Elsevier's document class for journal articles (see Elsevie's Preparing Documents with LaTex). To obtain the latest versions of elsarticle.cls and all other related files please visit The elsarticle LaTex Document Class, and download the archive file elsarticle.zip. This procedure will produce the precise typesetting used by JCAM.
