About Us

The Wolverhampton Chamber Choir is a medium-sized chamber choir drawn from the city and nearby. Formed in 1974 by Robin Bowman, the choir has created a loyal following and occupies a unique place in the musical life of the city.

The choir rehearses at 8 pm on Sundays during term time at St Michael's Church, Tettenhall, WV6 9AJ and gives three main concerts a year as well as performing at other musical events and at a number of other venues.

Under our director Geoffrey Weaver we perform a wide variety of musical styles from around the world, ranging from the Renaissance period to the present day.

Whilst we enjoy European sacred and secular music, we are equally at home with music in an altogether lighter vein!

If you would like a choir to sing at your special occasion (Wedding, birthday, anniversary etc) please contact us at wolverhamptonchamberchoir@gmail.com
