20080327 Clean-up performed by Council cleaners and compare the tided site with the previous state
For the first time the Wildlife Area has been cleaned up by the Council. Thanks to Tracy Dickinson (at the time of writing Area Managment and Community Engagement) that has organized the cleaning operations.
Note the state of the Wildlife Area (if you come from an exernal link this is:the Albridge Street plot off the Kinglake estate and part of the Surrey Square Park) before and after the cleaning operations carried out by Council personnel.
The cleaning was the direct result of a "visual audit survey" (under the the Street Leaders program) in which I took (lonely) part.
Some additional cleaning have been also carried out afterward by volunteers.
