Meg Chow

Meg (Margaret) Chow is currently a PhD student in the Johns Hopkins Department of Biomedical Engineering. She received her BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2014 with a focus in instrumentation and micro/nano technology.

Meg has been with VNEL since 2015, where her research is focused on the development of the future generations of VNEL's Multichannel Vestibular Prosthesis (MVP) via improved application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) design as well as improved stimulation paradigms. This work includes studying the effects of utricle and saccule stimulation combined with semi-circular canal (SCC) stimulation.

Meg is also a member on the Multichannel Vestibular Implant (MVI) clinical trial team, focusing on postural and gait effects of the MVI using standard clinical assessments.
