Book chapters too good to be buried

Thanks to Dorothy Bishop who analysed the fate of book chapters in her Blogpost http://deevybee.blogspot.co.uk/ "How to Bury your academic writing"

She showed convincingly that chapters are cited very rarely compared to journal articles. This is not because they are less good, or less careful or less theoretically interesting. They are simply not as accessible as journal articles. As a result I have unearthed some of my chapters so that they can see the light of day.

Warning: Some of the chapters may only have historical interest. Research on autism and on dyslexia has moved on...
