- Known issues:
- Some minor glyph improvements are outstanding. For a list and discussion see the Emoji project issue 138.
- Flag symbols. Based on UTC #116 (2008aug) feedback, these ten symbols are currently named FLAG SYMBOL JP etc. Some of the recent discussion is captured in the Emoji project issue 58.
- Sets of three or more symbols distinguished in the proposal by BLACK/WHITE/CHECKERED/STRIPED mapped to carrier symbols distinguished only by color, based on feedback from previous UTC discussions. Some of the recent discussion is captured in the Emoji project issue 74.
