These are other proposals that have been brought to the UTC and delegated to the Symbols Subcommittee. (Thanks to Karl Pentzlin for providing the initial list.) Some have been discussed on the mailing list to a degree, but these have not progressed yet beyond that, unless otherwise noted.

  • Consensus at UTC #116 (August 2008): [116-C25] Consensus: Encode U+26BD SOCCER BALL, and move amendment 6 characters 26BD and 26BE down by one codepoint to 26BE, 26BF.
Proposal to encode a separate block of Flags for all non-private-use ISO 3166-1 two-letter codes:
