2 weeks backpacking the 132-mile Northville Placid Trail in the Adirondacks with Carol, Tom, Steve, and Mo. There were no climbs of high peaks, but the trail was more challenging than expected. Lots of fancy footwork was required in the usually unsuccessful attempt to keep our feet dry, but there was a welcome splashdown at the end of every day. Bugs were minimal and temperatures comfortable, expect for the last 3 days when some of VA's heat and humidity migrated north. What little rain we had usually came while we were sleeping.
