Service time and your Minute Balance will both be added to your current balance when you add a new card. Let's say you have 60 days and 20 units left on your phone. Add a 300 minute 60 day card and you will end up with 120 days(60+60) and 320 minutes (20+300).

Straight Talk does not really have a Yearly plan but you could stack 12 monthly cards. The $30 per month cards would cost $360 per year. The units will not stack, you will only be able to use 1000 units per month or you would start using the next months service. Straight Talk Unlimited for $45 per month.

The Straight Talk plan has a glitch. If you have 10 days left on your phone and you add a $45 Unlimited 30 day phone card you will only get 30 days. You will not get 10 days plus 30 days.
