DeCicco was a wide receiver, quarterback, defensive back and linebacker in high school and an all-state selection. He stepped in at quarterback in the ninth game of the 2007 season and led the Jaguars to WPIAL and PIAA championships. He was a defensive back at Slippery Rock and W&J.
