Time Management is NOW

So, everyone, all the things we normally do in class are now out and it's time to really learn time management. Here's what you know so far:

1. Vocabulary is due every Friday and there is always a quiz

2. AoW reflections are due every Sunday night onto turnitin.com and annotations are due the next day in class.

3. The reading schedule contains all the due dates for quizzes and dialectical journals.

Now, if you get lazy, things will feel overwhelming and difficult, so JUMP AHEAD! Whenever I offer time in class or when you have a free moment, get ahead of the game by working on things early. Why should you do this? Because when the time comes, and there's always a time, when life will feel like it's falling apart or when you're just overly stressed and having a couple of things to NOT worry about because you already did them, will help you get through those kinds of days and weeks faster.

Throwing due dates and expectations at you the way that I do, might feel hectic and straining, but I have found that for this class, immediately jumping into cold water and warming up as you swim is far more effective than easing you into the water slowly. In this way, you can figure out what kind of academic grit you have and have time to figure out how you study and learn best.
