Good Friday, March 29, at 3 pm, "Gathering at the Foot of the Cross" 

At the hour of the cross, we will gather at the foot of the cross and hear the seven words from the cross with musical interludes in a prayerful mood. 

(There will be the scheduled 9 am service and 10:15 am contemplation as well.)


Holy Saturday, March 30, 11:30 am – 2:30 pm (after the service and contemplation)

All are welcome to join the children and experience this inspirational story from the Bible brought to life through the art form of marionette puppetry.

Easter Art Contemplation with Cindy Hindes:

"The Heart of the Earth is of Gold"

We will look at Fra Angelico's Resurrection fresco in the San Marco Cloister in Florence. We will also look at Felix Goll's "Easter Transformation."  



Sunday, May 5, 10 am

The Sacrament of Confirmation 

will be celebrated  for Willow Rose Brett, Cira Kasane Canard, Alana von Gleich, Themba Saul, and Leon Simon Schuschke 


Please note the time; it will be at 10am.  There will be no Children's Service on the Confirmation day.  Instead, all the children are encouraged to join the first part of the sacrament.  Older children may stay for the whole sacrament if they wish.  The sacrament will be followed by a festive potluck lunch and a celebration gathering.  Please join us in this joyous celebration.


Thursday, May 9, Ascension Day, beginning of 10 days of Ascension festival.

There will be 9 am service and contemplation (10:15 - 11:15 am).

Ascension Sunday hiking

We will think about the Ascension of Christ with an expanded view in the open air.  Please bring your journal and pen.
