Advanced Ensemble

Advanced students can audition to be in the Advanced Ensemble 2024.  

The students in the Advanced Ensemble will perform and receive extra recognition during the Finale Concert, Thursday, June 27.

To be considered for the Advanced Ensemble, the student needs to perform Study No. 1, by Mateo Carcassi, using perfect "i-m" alternation technique, string markings and all position markers on the score.  Both hands must be visible in the audition video.  

SELECT ONE OF THESE PIECES:

Study No. 1 by M. Carcassi

Audition video recordings are due by June 10, 2024 at 11:00pm.

Study no. 1 from 25 Studies, Op. 60, M. Carcassi

Students must play the piece from beginning to end (note there are 2 pages!)

Submissions should include:  Student name.
