Derry Family

The Derry Family originally came from Leicestershire and moved to Nottingham in the mid 1800s. The direct ancestry has been traced back to Thomas Derry (1701-1764) who was born in Holwell, near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire and was married to Jane Mowbray (1706-1759). The family originally lived in Great Dalby and descendants moved to Belgrave in Leicester.
