History

State Line Archery Inc. was established in 1984.

Originally located in a rented back room and leased land at Bob's Rec (a local bar, since closed) in southwestern Wisconsin; State Line Archery has since moved to our current location in a wooded bottom a few miles away. We now own our property and buildings.

State Line Archery was started and continues to operate as a club for the bowhunter. Our outdoor archery range is situated on a large wooded hillside with multiple elevated shooting platforms and moving targets offering our members a challenge to become a better bowhunter. In 2005 we added onto our clubhouse and now have a 20 yard indoor archery range so that members can enjoy shooting year around. Summer and winter archery leagues, and the availability of the facilities to our members offers every opportunity to improve your archery skills.

State Line Archery holds 3D shoots that are open the public, providing an opportunity for anyone to enjoy the facilities. We typically hold two shoots in our indoor range in January and Febuary; and four shoots in the summer months utilizing our outdoor range. We try to provide every archer with a safe, enjoyable and challenging day of shooting. Realistic target placement and distances are provided at each and every shoot.

Beyond the archery and bowhunting foundation that the organization was built upon, State Line continues to be involved in the surrounding community. Whether it be allowing local Fire & Rescue personell to use the grounds for training, or yearly bowhunter education classes, we try to give back to the community around us.
