It teaches lots of cultural information and easy vocabulary and phrases for different situations, as well as short interviews of native speakers. Each episode focuses on a different topic like education, history, family etc. There is a supporting BBC website with exercises and supplementary cultural and grammar explanations etc. Good for getting a general overview of the language and culture of China.

Maori

- Designed for beginners and intermediate students, the series follows a Maori family and with hosts explaining grammar and vocabulary points that come up. There are also cultural explanations and written exercises with each episode. Te Kai a Te Rangatira
