Slurpee Store Banners

Along with the flavors, some banners/posters have been seen that were probably posted in the stores during the flavor promotion. They come in two distinct styles and sizes as you can see below. Its quite remarkable that these fragile banners survived and they serve as a wonderful enhancement to the artwork and the quirky sense of humor that is evident from the buttons themselves and the radio spots that advertised them. They also resolve any questions about whether or not the "Adults Only!" pinback shown in the gallery was indeed for the Slurpee flavor (it doesn't have the word "Slurp" anywhere on it). The fonts on the button and the banner match exactly. Several of the larger ones also have (c) Southland Corporation 1968 printed on them which is a good indication that those flavors were issued in the summer of 1968. I've found two additional posters since originally creating this site that are stylistically different and vertically printed, instead of horizontally like most of these. Enjoy!
