Geometry 1 - 2011

Geometry means measuring land:

Measuring means in a way that an unknown object and undefined is converted into something tangible, familiar and safe. The fact of measuring land, convert them into numbers, geometric shapes or lines and gives so the feeling of control.

The pieces in this series bear the names of trades, as traveller, poet and visionary, and each measures the world in his way, his point of view from their perspective.

The traveller passes through the curves and lines established by the maps of the territories. Going by, he forms part of them.

The poet creates maps of words. Words are a set as a whole and pushing the boundaries.

The visionary sees more of the maps there, visions that cross its path and creates a projective geometry.
