In 2004, to celebrate a landmark birthday, Paul Fleming and Richard Bradley cycled from John O'Groats to Lands End, sometimes known as the End2End, in 10 days. Paul was 40 then and Richard 50, and now they have recovered enough to dust off their bikes and ride from St David's in Pembroke to the Norfolk coast - the Side2Side. In 2004, Paul and Richard raised money for the MS Trust and this time they are raising money for the new MS Drop-in Centre in Anstey, Leicestershire. Acquired recently by the Leicester and District Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Drop-in Centre provides a valuable meeting place and centre for those affected by MS and their carers. Originally the local fire station, the ground floor of the Drop-in Centre has been transformed into a purpose built meeting area complete with disabled facilities, but now there is an urgent need to install electric entrance doors and equip the 1st floor to realise the potential of the site. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated, thank you. |
