What do you bring to a meet?

NO! We welcome children from RCSC, as well as other area school corporations, and homeschooled students.

Children must be between the ages of 5-19 years old (age as of June 1, 2022). Kids ages 5-8 must be able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards) unassisted and children 9 years old and older must be able to swim two lengths of the pool (50 yards) without stopping.

Swimmers are required to attend 2 of the 4 practices during the 2022 season in order to be qualified to swim in a meet.

Meets are optional, but a great way to show off the hard work from practices. All meets will be away this year, so do require a drive. See the "Directions" tab above for directions to each of the pools where we will compete.

We recommend black suits for ladies and black jammer style suit for the young men. ONE PIECE bathing suits are a requirement.

Swimoutlet.com has very reasonable priced swimsuits and other swim equipment.

Swimmers need googles, swimsuit, and a positive attitude. Goggles can be purchased at Walmart or on Swimoutlet.com. We recommend that ladies with longer hair wear swim caps.

Summer swim meets can be quite lengthy. Most sites will have concessions.

A swimmer should pack: 2-3 towels, at least 1 pair of goggles, at least 1 swim cap, healthy snacks (fruits, veggies, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (unless we notify you of allergies at a meet), cooked pasta, and plenty of drinks (water, gatorade, etc.). Monticello and Lafayette Country Club are outside meets and depending on weather, your swimmer might need sunscreen.
