RSST vs MSC 6/17/23
The Torpedoes defeated the McCutcheon Swim Club (MSC) with a score of 679 to 277.
Families, makes sure that by this Thursday, June 22, you have RSVPed the number of people you plan on attending the end of season picnic and awards night on SPORTSYOU.
RSST vs LCC 6/14/23
The Rensselaer Torpedoes defeated the Lafayette Country Club (LCC) with a score of 789.5 to 164.5.
RSST vs. MSST 6/10/23
RSST Torpedoes defeated the Monticello Strokers Swim Team (MSST) with a score of 709 to 335.
RSST vs. BEST 6/7/23
RSST Torpedoes defeated the Benton Eels Swim Team (BEST) with a score of 538 to 288.
RSST vs. FAST 6/3/23
The Torpedoes were defeated by the FAST team with a score of 538 to 326.
RSST vs. WWW 5/31/23
The Torpedoes defeated the Warren Water Wizards (WWW) with a score of 614 to 377. It was exciting to see the team in the water. We swim at Fountain Central in Veedersburg on Saturday.
Learn to Swim and Swim Clinic - 2023
RSST would like to congratulate the following swimmers to made the requirements, for their age group, to join the team:

We are so proud of each of our Learn to Swim and Swim Clinic participants as we saw lots of growth. We are also excited to see how these swimmers continue to grow over the years!

Coaches recognized swimmers from each age group based on specific criteria. It's always a nice way to celebrate our team successes!
15 and up age group awards
PSSL - RSST competed at McCutcheon today while the other teams in the league competed at Lafayette Jeff. Our team rose to the challenge of swimming without the other teams' competition in the pool. Many PRs (personal records) were achieved today as well as Aubrey Geleott breaking her own record set earlier this season in the 100 breaststroke.
McCutcheon Meet Information: Due to construction and parking lot paving crews, we will need to park by the soccer field on east side of the building. You will then follow the sidewalk past the tennis courts and enter via the doors under the awning (Door C14).
RSST vs WWW (Warren)
June 18th - Our fourth meet didn't disappoint. RSST defeated the Water Wizards 566 to 445. Aubrey Geleott broke Kennedy Minter's 2015 backstroke record with a 1:06:13. Several races were neck and neck, making for some very exciting and loud races. We are excited to see what PSSL brings next Saturday.
RSST vs BEST (Benton)
June 11th - Today's third meet was another successful Torpedo swim. We defeated the BEST team today with a score of 732 to 339.
RSST vs Fountain
June 8th - Today's second meet was a huge success. We defeated the FAST team today with a score of 175 to 166. Shout out to Aubrey Geleott for breaking the 100 breaststroke record set by Ary Nelson in 2019.
RSST vs LCC and Attica
June 4th - Today's first meet was a huge success. Not only did we win the three way meet, but many of our new swimmers got some meet experience! Ribbons will be available at the first practice after each meet. Also on the first practice after each meet, the coaches will announce the Swimmer of the Meet. One swimmer from each age group will be recognized for a variety of reasons such as their great sportsmanship, being a team encourager, completing an awesome swim, filling in an event they don't usually swim, mastering a skill at the meet that has been a focus skill in practice, etc. We will post these swimmer for a week at the pool and recognize on our webpage and Facebook page.
Learn to Swim and Swim Clinic - March 2022
Our Learn to Swim sessions for the 2022 season have been a huge hit. A group of wonderful high school swimmers have worked with over 75 new swimmers, 44 of whom met the requirements to join our team!
