Thoughts Of Home

Op. 41 has 5 sections. It is for a capella SATB choir. (For rehearsal, a piano may be used to play the parts.)

The title refers to longing for our Heavenly (not earthly) home.

There are no words - the choir vocalizes ('ah') throughout. This makes the work pure music with no text-translation needed.

The third part of section 1 splits the choir parts (SSAATTBB). The rest of the work is for SATB. The last section (5) - my favorite - is a fitting conclusion to the work.
