Lost in the snow, he is rescued by a volunteer from an animal shelter, who traces his mother and returns Charlie to his home.

Daisy the Donkey is a mistreated working Donkey living in Egypt with her father. They both get rescued and taken to a donkey sanctuary where they are given treatment by vets and are well cared for. Daisy finds happiness knowing that her father will never have to work again. This book raises awareness of the plight of Donkeys in some countries.
