CLIL training
During the School year 2010-2011 I had the opportunity to attend a training course on CLIL for teachers at the Clare Language Centre thanks to the Comenius EU and LLP funding initiatives.
The course was excellent and covered three main areas: language skills, teaching methodology (with particular emphasis on CLIL methodology) and Ireland culture and history.
I found the course extremely useful to improve my English, to become aware of CLIL methodology issues and to meet foreign colleagues whom to share ideas and experiences with.

The CLIL team of our school also prepared a methodology course about CLIL in Italian for the other teachers of our school willing to learn the basic concepts of this new methodology. This methodology course was based on the material of a regional methodology CLIL course attended by some of the teachers of our school.
