RAO students have just started reading Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison and they are already excited about the topics being raised by the book. They have spent time reflecting on their own experiences with feeling "invisible" as well as how they have taken action to make sure that they are "seen" by others. They have also listened to Louis Armstrong's "What did I do to be so black and blue" in order to facilitate a deeper discussion on what it means to be black in America.
