Projects

I have participated in the drafting and execution of several research projects as briefly presented below:

  1. Member and co-author of the C4IIoT project ("Cyber security 4.0: protecting the Industrial Internet Of Things"). C4IIoT will build and demonstrate a novel and unified IIoT cybersecurity framework for self-protection (malicious and anomalous behaviour anticipation, detection, mitigation, and end-user informing) in the context of industrial internet of things applications.
    • Role of Paris 1: Modeling and monitoring the cyber-security context and protection of a smart factory and its supply chain logistic, including threat level raising alerts and attack detection, and find an alternative configuration to either maintain protection or enter safe degraded mode.
    • Program: H2020 (5 millions of Euros).
    • Period: 2019-2021.
    • Consortium: 14 institutions from the EU.
  2. Member and co-author of the AI4EU project ("A European AI On Demand Platform"). AI4EU will efficiently build a comprehensive European AI-on-demand platform to lower barriers to innovation, to boost technology transfer and catalyse the growth of start-ups and SMEs in all sectors through Open calls and other actions. The platform will act as a broker, developer and one-stop shop providing and showcasing services, expertise, algorithms, software frameworks, development tools, components, modules, data, computing resources, prototyping functions and access to funding.
    • Role of Paris 1: Propose innovative methods to verify declarative, partially machine learned knowledge bases and the inference engine that reason with them to implement dependability and security critical AI components.
    • Program: H2020 (20 millions of Euros).
    • Period: 2019-2022.
    • Consortium: 76 institutions from the EU.
  3. Member and co-author of the REVaMP2 project ("Round-trip Engineering and VAriability Management Platform and Process").
    • Role of Paris 1: Leader of product line verification automation work package
    • Program: FUI + Eureka-ITEA (20 millions of Euros).
    • Period: 2017-2020.
    • Consortium: 28 institutions from the EU.
  4. Co-director and French responsible of the CONFIGURE project “Improving configuration of product lines”.
    • Program: PHC UTIQUE program (5.625€ x 3 years + 500€ = 17.375€ for Paris 1).
    • Period: 2016 - 2019.
    • Consortium: OXIA, SIBTEL, Laboratoire RIADI (Tunisie), Panthéon Sorbonne University.
  5. Leader of the project entitled "A dynamic product line-based approach to design, simulate and implement precision agriculture systems".
    • Founded by Eafit University (20.000€).
    • Period: 2016-2020.
  6. Member of the CEA-IoT project (“Centro de Excelencia y Apropiación en Internet de las Cosas”).
    • Program: COLCIENCIAS (the Colombian National Agency of Research) and MinTIC (the Colombian ICT Ministry) (~730.000€ for the consortium, I'm participating as international expert).
    • Period: 2016-2021.
    • Consortium: Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, Universidad Tecnológica de Bolivar, Universidad Santo Tomás, HP Colombia, Intel Colombia, Microsoft Colombia, Hospital Universitario San Ignacio, Banco Pichincha, Logyca, Zona Franca de Bogotá, Totto.
  7. Member and co-author of the "Verification of Product Lines" project.
    • Program: COLCIENCIAS (~140.000€, I was in the role of international expert representing Paris 1).
    • Period: 2013 - 2016.
    • Consortium: University of Antioquia, Colombian National University, and Paris 1 Panthéon – Sorbonne University.
  8. Member and co-author of the "Evolution and data-mining of Product Lines" project.
    • Program: COLCIENCIAS (~140.000€ in total, I was in the role of international expert representing Paris 1).
