Favorite things to do when not teaching: Fiction Writing, watching team sports, and playing with my pug, Chili.

What I love most about history: The everyday heroes and activists that emerge as the voices for all of those who are not being heard. Examples of these heroes are Susan B. Anthony, Jane Addams, Dolores Huerta, and Harvey Milk.

What I love most about history: We are all connected to History. Everyone has ancestors that lived 3,000 years ago. Learning History is learning how our ancestor’s actions led to our existence today.
