RADIO FREE SOMALIA ("Free for all to use", in 1994),

Known today as RADIO GALKAYO, SOMALIA (2010).

Radio Free Somalia (“free for all to use” in 1994) today known as Radio Galkayo (community radio in 2010) first broadcasting location at the Galkayo Police station, Galkayo, Somalia (1994).

The 30 metre tower supports the Australian donated rotatable 7 to 30 MHz Log Periodic directional antenna that was used for short wave broadcasting in Somalia and for making world wide friendship through two way Amateur Radio communications and for radio training using the Somalia Amateur Radio Club Station call sign 6O0Z of the Radio Free Somalia Amateur Radio Training Club which today in 2010 (1431 AH) is the Radio Galkayo Amateur Radio Training Club.
