Who Should Apply?
Who Should Apply For and Attend This Year’s QTUG Conference?
The conference on quantitative training is designed for individuals from underrepresented groups who are junior or senior undergraduate students or graduate students.
Applicants with a Ph. D. who are from underrepresented groups will also be considered. As there is benefit in accruing ongoing quantitative training, applications will be considered from 10-20% of the students who previously participated in the QTUG/ SMEP Student Conference. Preference will also be given for applicants from underrepresented groups who are from the Southeast USA.
Over 130 individuals participated in previous QTUG conferences. This year, we will invite individuals from underrepresented groups, based on their application materials including interest and goals in quantitative training.
