2012 Book Launch. QR's March meeting featured Errol Bray's new book Berzoo, set in Berlin, Sydney and Venice. Gay travel writer Roger Staines, nearing 40 and experiencing the usual meaning of life angst meets Fredrich whose angelic looks belies an agenda quite apart from the romantic ideals of Roger. It is 1995, the Wall is down and Roger is looking for something different, and he finds it when he is thrown into a world that travel writing never prepared him for. Errol spoke about his book, his inspiration for writing it as well as signed copies.
2012 Dickens Anniversary
QR's February's meeting celebrated the 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens's birth with an engaging talk by guest speaker Bill Pine, wine and cheese and a selection of opinions of reader's views of the author's work ( see meeting minutes for a summary of the books discussed).

Celebrated on December 20th at our usual venue at the New Farm Library Meeting Room and the adjacent park behind, which thanks to the recent wet provided us with an artificial lake to sit by and thankfully no rain on the night!
