Metric Geometry Reading Seminar Spring 2013

Spring 2013 meetings of the CUNY Metric Geometry Reading Seminar meets 5-6pm on Fridays in 4214:03 which is the thesis room of the mathematics department at the CUNY Graduate Center.

Professor Sormani runs this weekly metric geometry reading seminar for doctoral students at the CUNY Graduate Center. Doctoral students from other universities are welcome to attend. Most of our active participants have studied Gromov-Hausdorff convergence as well as Geometric Measure Theory (see what we covered in Spring-Summer 2012). Active participants present research papers that they are reading as well as their own results. New students may wish to start attending to get an idea of the research in this area.
