Friends and Supporters of PG Special Olympics

PG Special Olympics would like to acknowledge David Patsel of Napier Realtors and Kevin Strosnider & Anna Kroyer of Strosnider Chevrolet, along with Rodrigo Benavidez of Primo's Mexican Family Restaurant in PG for the donation of a delicious taco bar for our end-of-season party held on 5/25/22 at the Disputanta Community Center. Thanks to these dedicated and generous people, the athletes and families enjoyed a wonderful meal, fellowship, and awards. Thanks so much!

PG Special Olympics would like to say thanks to all of the generous sponsors who helped to make our third Feet Meet such a great success! Thanks to their donations, over 500 students, staff, and community members enjoyed a wonderful day in the sun, experiencing the benefits of inclusion and caring!

PG Special Olympics would like to acknowledge and publicly thank the DICK's Sporting Goods Store at the Southpark Mall in Colonial Heights, Virginia for donating a $20.00 DICK's gift certificate to PG Special Olympics. We were able to apply this gift certificate towards the purchase of some much needed supplies (i.e. stop watch, softballs, orange plastic cones, and eye goggles) for swimming and track and field practices to occur.

PG Special Olympics would like to acknowledge and publicly thank the members of "Prince George Promise" for awarding a $1,500.00 grant to help revive the PG Special Olympics program to the citizens of Prince George County, Virginia.

PG Special Olympics would like to acknowledge and publicly thank Thacker ACE Hardware for donating one ACE 200 foot fiberglass tape measure to PG Special Olympics. Now we will be able to measure our athletes' distance in the running long jump track and field event and the distance of our athletes' throw in the softball throw track and field event during our practices and competitions.

PG Special Olympics would like to acknowledge and publicly thank the Martin's Food & Drugstore for donating a $20.00 gift card to PG Special Olympics, With this gift card, we were able to purchase bottled water and energy bars for our athletes at their track and field practices.
